2009-10_Report-White Tops Policy Committee  Submitted by Webmaster on   3/7/2011 Last Modified White Tops Policy Committee Report and Agenda May 1, 2009-April 30, 2010 By Mort Gamble, Chair Note: Because this is the first convention at which I will serve as chair of The White Tops Policy Committee, I am submitting the following agenda in lieu of a detailed report on activities since 2009. As to an abbreviated report, however, throughout the year the Committee has conferred informally with each other, and other key members of the CFA, on various White Tops issues including concern about costs of the magazine, archiving extra issues, and propriety of some comments made editorially. It appears that our current and future activities in this publication area are being guided by the need to address the following agenda: Review of editorial policies/guidelines for guest contributors. News and columns-what's the relationship? Relationship of WT to CFA website, vice versa. Readership preferences-what are people reading/what do they want to read? Magazine costs and extra issues.
