I am the daughter of LeRoy "Corky" Williams who was an Advance Man for a Circus that went through Georgia back in the 1900's. I would appreciate hearing from anyone that could tell me about the Circus or any information about the shows during that time. Thank You, M.A.

I am the grandson of Joe Stefan, Mills Bros. bandmaster (1960-1965?).
He also played cornet with the Ringling Bros. under Merle Evans in 1935 and was with the Cole Bros. in 1950 and Critiani Circus in 1959. I am researching his circus music with the thought of making some old sound recordings I inherited available to the public. ANY thoughts or info would be helpful. Thank you.

What was the Los Angeles area Dates in 1967 of the Ringling Brothers Circus. I took my wife on our first date but do not remember the date except that it would have been in July or August 1967. Three months later, November 19, 1967 we were married and still are.
Thank You, Paul

I am trying to find out about a gorilla named
"Garantua" whose owner Gertrude Davies Lintz wrote a book called "Animals Are My Hobby". A movie was also made about this gorilla and in the movie he was called "Buddy". There is also supposed to be something about this in your VOl. T-5, #11-12,P.4 but I can not seem to locate it to read about it. The topic is supposed to be about "The Gorilla Show at Century of Progress". This was supposed to be written in 1942. Can you please help me with any information about this? I would really appreciate it. I have been looking for this book for several years but have been unsuccessful. It would be wonderful if someone could help me find some information about this. Thank you very much for your time, Phyllis Huerta

I am interested in a back issue of White Tops, 1940 article titled: "Correct the Evils-To Help the Circus.." Vol.13 #4-5 page 13, author is Billy Pape, my great uncle. He was a circus acrobat in the 1930s and later dog act/trainer, his partner was Renee. Does this volume exist and how can I obtain this page? thank you

I am seeking information on my great uncles, Bee Ho Gray and Weaver Gray who were trick ropers and riders with many wild west shows, Ringling Brothers and others. Articles, photos, personal stories, etc. would be much appreciated.

Additionally, their wives are of interest to me. They were Ada Sommerville and Juanita Gray.
