Circo Darix Tongi/Circo Florilegio - Show

http://www.florilegio.com

Two Productions-1 Classical Circus & Theatrical On Circo Darix Togno: With the Tognis, the circus is their life : for five generations they have travelled the world to communicate their joy of life, their talent, their emotions. Darix Togni, son of Ercole, grandson of Aristide Togni, was certainly the most popular Italian circus artiste. He died in 1976 but his three sons, Livio, Corrado and Davio Togni took up the flag of the Togni dynasty. Great showmen, their imagination and their energy are boundless. They have regenerated Togni Circus, which remains a traditional circus, playing mainly in Italy, and created Florilegio, an original idea of romantic circus and founded also the idea of Commedia vagabonda, travelling circus-theatre-restaurant. Circo Darix Togni is a circus in the old style, a show in pure traditional circassian tradition, with many spectacular acts, showing all the classic circus disciplines : flying trapeze, acrobats, jugglers, ropes, high wire, clowns .... And of course the procession of many exotic beasts (hippopotamus, rhinoceros, giraffe, camels, bisons, elephants, panther, horses etc.) and their extraordinary menagerie. A shoe for old and young alike, not to be misse On Florilegio: This show reinvents, with a mixture of nostalgia and irony the circus known to our ancestors, taking us there as in a dream. Florilegio is much more than a succession of acts, it is an atmosphere formulated from the most beautiful things learnt by five generations of Togni's : a barrel of baroque, a sprig of romance, a hint of barbarism, the wink of an eye, all within one theatrical spectacular which does not betray circus tradition.
