Performing with Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus would be a dream come true for many youngsters. Tomorrow, Saturday, November 18, 2006, this dream will come true for Circus Day Foundation’s youth circus troupe, the St. Louis Arches!

The St. Louis Arches will be presenting a combination of juggling, tumbling, contortion and magic acts as part of Ringling’s Three Ring Adventure which is the pre-show portion of the show.  The Arches are the star student performers from the Circus Day Foundation School which is located at City Museum.

The schools oldest student, 80 year old Elizabeth “Bunny” Herring will be accompanying the young troupe. Bunny made headlines last week when she performed an aerial act at her 80th birthday party!

The Arches perform regularly inside their home at City Museum. Last month, the St. Louis Arches performed at the premiere of Cirque Du Soleil as well as doing a special show on the Cirque stage for the Cirque cast and crew. This summer, the Arches have been invited to do a residency in Israel with an Arab/Israeli youth circus in the Galilee!

This will be their second time with Ringling Brothers. They were invited last year after Ringling producers Kenneth and Nicole Feld saw them perform at the American Youth Circus Festival in San Francisco. To catch the Arches in their appearance with Ringling , get to Scott Trade Center for the show’s Adventure which starts at .  Come cheer on St. Louis’ hometown circus heroes!
