MEET KERRI GELLISPE OUTSTANDING AMATEUR CIRCUS PERFORMER WITH THE PERU COMMUNITY CIRCUS, PERU, INDIANA
Kerry Gellispe of Peru, Indiana won the International Youth Competition at the Monoco Circus competition. She performed on a lyre shaped like a tear drop. Kerry, 16, will be a senior at Peru High School where she is a cheer leader. She told the circus historians that she wanted to go to Florida State and following graduation wanted to perform in the circus. This outstanding performer said that when she arrived at Monoco she was surprised to learn that her competition, although youths like herself,were professionals. So it was very special when she won the competition. Circus Fans wish her much success in the future.
