The Emmett Kelly Tent No. 41 and the CFA Public Relations Committee To Sponsor the 2006 CFA Photo Contest
EMMETT KELLY TENT NO. 41 AND THE CFA PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE ANNOUNCE THE 2006 PHOTO CONTEST
For many years CFA Tent No. 41 has sponsored an annual color photo contest which honored the late CFA member and expert photographer Al Thomas. Due to circumstances beyond its control, Tent No. 41 has found it necessary to seek help from outside Tent 41 to administer the contest and therefore joined with the CFA PR Committee to keep the contest going.
According to Daniel Rohrer, Tent 41 Vice President, “We are delighted to join with the CFA PR Committee to keep this photo contest going. With the help of the PR Committee we expect more entries for this contest.”
The photo contest is open to anyone who would like to enter. There is no limit on the number of photos that one may submit. Entries must be 5” X 7” color photos of a circus subject. The entries can be from any time period or event.
Entries are due by September 29, 2006 and should be sent to:

The winning entries will be awarded at the annual banquet of the Emmett Kelly Tent on October 21, 2006. CFA member, Phil Krahn, of Howell, Michigan will be this year’s judge.
Ed Limbach, CFA Director of Public Relations and Media, expressed the PR Committee's appreciation for the willingness of Tent 41 to keep the photo contest going by joining with the PR Committee to sponsor the event. Limbach said, "It is important for CFA to have an extensive menu of opportunities for members to participate in the association. The photo contest is an easy way for members to participate in the activities of the Association. All entries are welcome."
